I was born in Dudley, West Midlands in 1954, I have a sister Janet who lives in the West Midlands, my father was a schoolteacher, he passed away in 1990. My mum was just mum, she died at a very early age. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to show dogs, but like everything never got round to it. I met my Husband in 1969 in Dorset and 6 years later we settled down to married life, we have two children well not children anymore and now have three lovely Granddaughters, a Grandson and now a Great Grandson.

We had Sophie our first Golden Retriever in August 2003,she is so lovely and she was our foundation girlee, she was from the Demarella line, we bred her with Oliver (Tannadice line) in 2006 and she had a lovely litter 4 dogs and 1 bitch, we decided to keep the bitch and have a go at showing, thats when Kizzie became our showgirl, she is very pretty with cleopatra eyes, she has done very well getting a few firsts, lots of 2nds 3rds Res and VHC, its not just the idea of her winning that we love its the taking part and also knowing that we bred our girleee and she has done very well. Also my granddaughter loves to do the junior Handling with her. We attend a ringcraft class at Charlton Adam where we have learnt a lot from being shown what to do from the right people.

We now have a boy called Crikey (Catcombe line) he was born in June 2007, he is such a lovely boy so handsome and very bidable he loves to give lots of cuddles and does lots of talking, he has been to lots of shows, he got Best Of Breed at Minehead & District open show July 2009, plenty of 1sts , 2nds , 3rds reserves and vhc's of course he is still learning he enjoys his days at the shows and when crikey and kiz get home after a show, they just crash out, ready for their walks next day.

Kizzie has had two litters and we kept a pup from each, Samson from the first and Jazmin from the last. So, we now share our lives with five lovely Goldies.
